The Iowa Library Association was established in 1890. It is the second oldest state library association in the country.
Currently ILA has 1530 members.
Membership is comprised of librarians, library workers, teacher-librarians, trustees, students and friends.
An Annual Conference is held each year during October.
ILA has eighteen subdivisions to stimulate and provide for the interests of special groups. |
